Hi, I’m Sophie! You can find me working alongside Samara on your big day. After working in corporate events and planning my own wedding with Samara, I realized weddings were a passion of mine. I love being a part of such an important day in two people’s lives and helping them build their vision. 

Outside of my role as an Assistant Lead Planner you can find me managing Samara Josephine Events social media accounts and working full time in corporate marketing and events. In my free time you can always find me adventuring, whether that be hiking a new mountain with my husband and dog, or going to a new yoga class.

I'm Jamie and I've been a part of the world of weddings for 5 incredible years. I
thrive on connecting with people and weaving their unique stories into unforgettable celebrations. Being part of a team of detail-oriented and compassionate women makes every event uniquely rewarding.

There is nothing more heartwarming than watching everyone let loose after the ceremony and make memories as one big new family. A love for people is what drove me to get my master's degree in social work, which I currently also use in grant management for a nonprofit.  Interpersonal connection and building relationships are my focus and part of my love for event planning.

Outside of work I write for a Portland-based magazine and hike the coast of Maine. I love living in this special state, and sharing its natural wonders with those who choose to have their most memorable day here.

I’ve loved all things having to do with weddings; well before I found my mister right. I remember thinking how wonderful it would be to be a part of such a magical day, watching two families become one and creating long lasting core memories.    

I was born and raised here in Maine and after living in Colorado for almost a decade, my husband and I moved back to this wonderful state that I call home in 2019. When I am not lending a hand to Samara as a day of assistant for your beautiful day, you’ll find me at home creatong my own core memories, with my husband and beautiful daughter, who is our absolute world. I am detailed oriented, and my favorite part of planning is the design aspect, understanding your vision, building that vision board, and seeing it though.
